Then it continues to the town where the majestic Rocca Aldobrandesca still stands mighty at the entrance of the village. The small square is a perfect setting for such a unique and simple place at the same time. The small church of Santa Maria is a jewel of architecture with important art treasures. In the same way is the majestic cathedral dedicated to Saints Peter and Paul, magnificent in its style and the many details that we will discover in its interior.l our route then moves to Pitigliano called the "little Jerusalem" for the very important testimonials left by one of the more numerous Jewish commences of southern Tuscany until the second world war. Our visit goes as far as the ghetto and the Sinagoga still intact and well restored. We will not fail to visit the church of San Rocco and the mighty Palazzo Orsini (external only) the primary residence of this powerful Roman family who made Pitigliano their main center.
